On October 21, CSC international students from SWUFE, Sichuan University, University of Electronic Science and Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine jointly participated in the 2019 " Experience China - Modern Agriculture " event, which was sponsored by the China Scholarship Council and organized by SWUFE and the Government of Wanchun Town, Wenjiang District. Nearly a hundred international students from dozens of countries and regions including Russia, Pakistan, Germany, Italy, Japan, Thailand, etc. went to Wanchun Town to carry out activities and studied in Xingfu Village, Gaoshan Village’s Characteristic Agricultural Base and other places. Research and personal experience of farming labor, wrote a beautiful international chapter for the rural revitalization and construction of Chengdu.

This year,SWUFEorganized the educational practice activities for international students closely centering on the "village revitalization" in July. We were the first university in Sichuan Province to organize international students to participate in the "Countryside Experience" practical activities. This time, the CSC "Experience China" activity was set up in the rural area of Wenjiang District, which has the reputation of "ecological pastoral". The successful development of the activity drew a beautiful picture of the vigorous development of new rural areas for international students, giving them the opportunity to experience and learn the great achievements of socialist modernization in the field, and to practice the three-dimensional education in farming, in a bid tofosterthe students' all-round moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic grounding with a hard-working spirit.

During the activity, the international students took notes carefully, raised relevant questions in combination with their professional direction, and expressed their great appreciation for the promotion of the rural revitalization strategy in Chengdu. FARIDUN ZIYOEV, a postgraduate student from Tajikistan, said: "This practice has enriched my worldview and experience in Chengdu’s rural construction achievements. The land transfer model of modern farms has inspired me a lot. I hope to bring these experiences back to my country and help Tajikistan play a more active role in the construction of the “Belt and Road”."

For a long time,SWUFEhas actively organized international students to participate in various levels and types of educational practice activities. Thisactivity of"ExperienceChina" is a good example of telling the Chinese story to international students from all over the world.
