Recently, Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China announced the results of the 2020 "Chinese Government Scholarship for Outstanding International Students in China". THANRADA SRI-ANGKURA, a Thai student in the master's program from our School of International Business, SAFTAR GASIMOV, an Azerbaijan student in the master's program from our School of Accounting, and WASI UL HASSAN SHAH, a Pakistani student in the Ph.D program from our School of Statistics, received this award.

The "Chinese Government Scholarship for Outstanding International Students in China" is an annual selection of outstanding international students organized by the Ministry of Education for international students who are in the second year (or above) in either undergraduate or postgraduate programs. It aims to reward and commend international students with excellent academic and moral performance as well as outstanding social or cultural services. In 2020, the three SWUFE international students have performed outstandingly in various fields such as learning, scientific research, social services, cultural exchange, and the fighting against COVID-19. They are excellent representatives of SWUFE international students, whose achievements reflected the remarkable progress we have made in the education of our international students in recent years.
